Q. Which mulch is the best?
A. Bark type mulches all do the same job ie: help suppress weeds and retain moisture in your garden. All mulches should only be applied approx 50mm deep to ensure moisture gets to the roots of the plants.
Q. Do you have mulch and soil etc. in bags?
A. Yes, all of our bulk materials are available in bags.
Q. What is the difference between mulch and compost?
A. Mulch basically retains moisture and helps to suppress weeds. Compost improves the quality of the soil, feeds your plants and can also be used as a mulch.
Q. How do I work out how much mulch I need?
A. All measurements are in metres. You need to multiply the length x width x depth of the area you wish to cover. Eg 12m long x 2.5m wide x .05m(5cm) deep will need 1.5 cubic metres of material.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. Yes, there is a delivery fee for all small deliveries. A list of fees is included in the pricelist. For orders of more than 6 cubic metres in our local area (approx 3km radius) there is no delivery fee. We deliver from 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 12n Saturdays.
Oasis can deliver till 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 8.30 to 3.30pm on Sunday.
Q. What is the smallest amount you deliver?
A. 1/4 cubic metre is the smallest amount we can deliver in bulk materials. Our products are all available in bags if you need less than this but buying in bags is a more expensive way to purchase products.
